Here's my card for the challenge inspiration. I used So Much Love Stamp and other MFT products.

I stamped cute girls from So Much Love and Blowing Kisses in brown ink and colored them lightly using Copic Markers.
I used G24-G21-G20 for green and E95-E93-YR000 for coral dress.  I then cut them using So Much Coordinating Die and Blowing Kiss Coordinating Die.

I made a spring & Valentime themed background using Reverse Hearts Stencil and Grassy Edges Dies from Simon Says Stamp. I used a few MFT dye inks for coloring them, but I think you can use any soft tone colors of inks you have in your stash. I diecut my panel using Mod Rectangle Die.

To give more visual interests to my scene, I added a Garden Gate diecut because I found  the gate had a heart shape and it would look perfect on my grassy scene.  I also added some cute spring animals from  Spring Friends set  and completed my scene.

A sentiment from Blowing Kisses was heat embossed in white on Schoolhouse Red Card stock using White Embossing Powder Fine Detail. I then cut it into a banner using Fishtail Sentiment Strips Dies. I chose light yellow pattern paper from Pastel Tiny Hearts 6×6 for bottom background, and I adhered some sequins as a final embellishment.

So now it’s YOUR turn.
 Happy Crafting

[My Favorite Things] Wednesday Sketch Challenge #379

Hi, friends!
Hope you are having a good start of day now.
I made two cards with designs based on the current Sketch Chellange Theme by My Favorite Things today.
(Click the image below to link to the site)

Here are my take on the sketch.
I did some background watetcoloring using my Daniel Smith Watercolor paints.

To begin, I heat embossed Sheet Music Background Cling stamp on watercolor paper, then I watercolored the panel.

For the top diagonal panel, I cut white card stock using Stitched Scallop Basic Edges 2 die, then I spread Nuvo glitter paste using Mini Raindrops Stencil.

I also heat embossed sentiments from Essential Sentiments set, then I finished off the card by adding some sparkling clear sequins and dew drops.

My second card is similar with the first one.
In this card, I added weathered wood ink before I did stencil with glimmer paste so that the raindrops looked light blue.

Thanks for reading this post.
Have a wonderful day!

MFT card design superstar, Clean and Simple genius

Hello, there!
Today I'm sharing a care for entry into the My Favorite Things card design superstar challenge clean and simple genius category .
Please click the image below to link to the challenge site.

I wanted to make a winter scene in a drop as well as water drop effects on my card.
First I die cut a big water drop, stamped images using masking on it, then colored with copic markers. To give it a glassy look, I gave shades using copic markers and then brushed a little amount of white gesso on it.

Then I prepared an A2 sized card base, then stamped water drop images from Abstract Art set using dye inks from MFT.
The large waterdrop diecut piece was mounted using fun foam.
I also added a smaller waterdrop die cut above the larger one to express drops falling down.

As a final touch, I added a silver metalic twin ribbon.
To make it Clean and Simple, I let most of the spaces empty white, and made a one layer card.

Supplies I used are all from My Favorite Things
Stamps : Abstract Art, Winter Wonderland
(I couldn't find the product infos about the stamps I used at MFTstamps.com)

Hope you enjoyed this.
Thank you

CAS (E) This Sketch 230- Vintage flower card

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today, I'm sharing a card for the current CTS#230.
This week's sketch is shown below. (Click the image)

So this is my take on the sketch.

For this card, I used "pretty poppies" stamps set from My Favorite Things.
I firtst cut a 3.75×5 inch panel from a white cardstock, then distressed it with disress oxide ink Antique Linen, and added splatters of water.

(I took this photo during stamping)

I then stamped solid poppy images using multi color stamping with MFT's pigment dye inks and texts with hybrid intense black ink. Then I added some splatter of distress spray (wild honey).

Then I cut the panel into the 3 pieces according to the sketch, and foam mounted each piece onto a A2 card base. I finished off with some sequins on it.

Thanks for reading this post.
Hope you enjoyed it.
Blessings!
Marge.
