Simon Says Stamp Friendly Frolic Relesse Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome to my blog, crafty friends!
You've finally reached the last stop of Friendly Frolic Blog Hop Day 2, Yay! Thanks for your visiting.
Most of you might have come here from talented Mindy's blog, but in case you get lost your way, here's the full list of Blog Hop designers.

The New Friendly Frolic Release from Simon Says Stamp is full of fabulous supplies as always and I love that Simon's new products just don't stop to amaze me.
Here are my projects for the release. I have 10 cards to share with you, which come with brief instructions and products links in the text.

< Card 1 >

I stamped images of Plantiful Puns Stamp set on 80lb Neenah White paper using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink then I cut them out using my Scan N Cut Machine. I then colored the images using alcohol markers and set them aside. For my background, I trimmed a piece of yellow pattern paper from Really Rainbow 6×6 pack, and I adhered Leafy Frame that was cut out of 80 Neenah White paper.

After adhering background panel onto a Card Base, I foam mounted my images as shown using Adhesive Foam Squares. A sentence in the same set was heat embossed in white on black card stock using Wow Embossing's White Super Fine powder, and was foam mounted, too. I added Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix and 3mm Sparkling Clear sequins as a final embellishment.

< Card 2 >

I made a similar card with the first one in a little different color palette, so basicially  supplies are the same as above except for blue paper from  Plaid Spring 6×6.  Since I wanted my bouquets look luxuriant, I added one more branch from Wreath Greetings set in both the cards.
I love the dimensional look created by using foam tapes & adhesives.

< Card 3 >

I used the same Plantiful Puns Stamp set and Wreath Greetings set for my third card. To ground my images, I cut a white panel using  Diamond Pattern Dies from the new release, then foam mounted it on a piece of A2 size green paper from  Really Rainbow 6×6 pack.
To embellish the card, I used a vellum circle diecut, May Arts Natural TwineSpring Meadow Mix and Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix.

< Card 4 >

I trimmed a piece of Bristol paper into A2 size, then I ink blended it in rainbow colors using distess inks(Chipped Saphire, Seedless Preserve, Peacock Feathers, Lucky Clover, Salted Ocean, Twisted Citron, Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberry) . I then cut the panel using the Diamond Pattern Dies and foam mounted it onto a card base.
I added a Big Happy diecut that was cut from Simon Gold Glitter Cardstock & white cardstock and small sentiment from Messages for Everyday set using Adhesive Foam Squares.

< Card 5 >

A very similar one to the card 4!
I used Seedless Preserve, Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge for ink blending.  For Big Happy diecut, I used Simon Silver Glitter Card Stock, and small sentiments from Four Seasons set.  For both of the cards I used Ivory card stock as a card base and finally I added 6mm and 4mm clear droplets to embellish them.

< Card 6 >

This is a soft, elegant design featuring
Diamond Pattern Dies & Big Happy Dies. I got some hint from the name "diamond" so I embellished the card using Ivory Jewels. Other supplies I used for this card are 120lb Ultra Thick White Card Stock, Cotton Candy Card Stock, Beautiful Flowers Stamp set and Foam Adhesive Mini Square.

< card 7 >

Very similar to card 6 and I used Diamond Pattern Dies, Ivory JewelsBeautiful Flowers Stamp set and Cotton CandySimon Rose Gold Glitter cardstock.

I love this Diamond Pattern Dies that it lets us make cards very quick and easily .

< Card 8 >

This time , I used Diamond Pattern Cling Background Stamp instead of dies. I heat embossed the patterns using Wow Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder and then I  adhered Metallic Rose Gold Jewels. I then matted a piece of Gold Card Stock under the panel then I foam mounted it onto card base. A sentiment from Beautiful Flowers Stamp set  was heat embossed in white using Wow white embossing powder super fine on black paper then I matted the block using Simon Copper Glitter Card Stock

< Card 9 >

I used Diamond Pattern Cling Background Stamp once again. I heat embossed the pattern in white on 300g watercolor paper then I ink blended the panel using distress inks : Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers. I made a shaker card by cutting a circle window out of the panel using some circle & scallop dies I had in my stash. I also stamped Diamond Pattern on the shaker background using Simon Barely Beige Ink.

After I assembled shaker, I adhered my colored Plantiful Puns Stamp set images and sentiments. I added 6mm and 4mm clear droplets as a final embellishment.

< Card 10 >

Today's last card!
I heat embossed Folk Dance Cling Stamp on navy card stock using Rose Gold Embossing Powder then I trimmed the panel a little.
I foam mounted the panel onto A2 top folded card base that I had made using 120lb Ultra Thick White Card Stock, then I placed  Big Happy dircuts using foam adhesive

[Simon Says Stamp ] New July 2018 Release - Friendly Frolic Collection

Hi, there!
The new July 2018 Simon Says Stamp Release has been just revealed and I'm so excited to share my cards with you, today.

I made one layer pattern background using the Plantiful Puns Stamp set after being inspired by a recent card that Nicol Spohr shared on Simon Says Stamp Blog.
I started by stamping the images on 80lb Neenah White paper using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and I colored the images with copic markers and Nuvo alcohol markers.

For my first card, I stamped dots from Everything Together set using an Altenew's dye ink Arctic. I added more dots by using gray alcohol marker. Next, I added Natural Twine around the top of the panel, adhered it onto Dark Chocolate Card Base, then I finished off the card by adding Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix

The second card was made in a similar way as the first one. Here, I added branch patterns from Wreath Greetings set, and tiny dots with Nuvo Grey Markers.
Sentiment was heat embossed in white on black card stock.

After I adhered the panel onto  white card base, I foam mounted the sentiment then I finished off the card by adding Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix

Main Copic numbers are :

Green : G29-G07-G14-YG03-YG01
Brown : E18-E15-E13-E11
Grey : Nuvo markers 491-489-487-485
Mint : BG15-BG13-BG11-BG10

That's it from me today.
Thanks for reading this post.
Hope you will enjoy the Friendly Frolic Collection.
I'll be back soon with more creations from the new release.

Happy Crafting!

The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your creative makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!

Here are my cards for the challenge inspiration. I used Cottage Circlet Mini TryFolds Stamp and Die set.

The Cottage Circlet Mini TryFolds Stamp and Die set is a fun set that you can create a tri-fold card by using three circular images and coordinating dies. There's also a kind instruction on how to use them in the package.

The circular images are small which are around 2 inches so that they might be suitable for mini cards.

To begin my first card, I prepared 4x11inch 80 Neenah White paper and I scored two lines at with a width of 3 and 5/8 along the 11 inch side.  Next, I stamped images and cut out windows using coordinating dies according to the insert guide. I used copic markers for coloring. You can see how they look one by one with clockwise order in the above photo. To hide copic marker stain on the back of central card base, I simply adhered a piece of pattern paper on it.

To embellish the outer surface, I stamped a sentiment from Showers and Flowers set, then I adhered mini leaves I made using Wreath Greetings Stamp and Coordinating Dies together with Ivory Twine Ribbon.

I thought my first card looks too simple although the making process was not that easy, so I decided to make another one in a different way. Here it is.

I stamped the three circular images together on the same panel, cut out windows using coordinating dies. The scenes were colored using copic markers and the background panel was ink blended using distress inks and then put behind the front panel by using foam tapes to give the card dimensional look.

I didn't want empty spaces on the front panel so I stamped sentiments from Showers and Flowers set and Wreath Greetings Stamp set.
I finished off the card by adhereing the panels onto a card base I made using SSS Lemon Chiffon Card Stock. I didn't add sequins to maintain a clean look.

I really love how I could create two different styles of cards by using the TryFold Stamp and Dies set from Art Impressions. Isn't it so cool? ♡

****************************************************************************

Hi, there!
Hope you are having a good day.
Today, I'm sharing my cards featuring Pretty Pink Posh and Wow Embossing Powder Products. I'm so glad to join the Blog Hop and I hope you will join us and have fun !

For my first card, I started by stamping Wild Rose using Wow Embossing Pad on 140lb Cold Press Watercolor paper, then I applied Wow Glitter Clear Sparkle and then heat set it.

I watercolored the images using Zig Clean Brush Markers and trimmed the panel into A2 size.
A sentiment from Encouraging Greetings set was heat embossed on black cardstock using Wow Embossing Pad and Embossing Powder White Super Fine, then I cut it into a tag using Stitched Pieces Dies.

I added Ivory Twine and Sparklingn Clear Sequins Mix as embellishment.
Look at the beautiful sparkle from the Wow Glitter. I love the frosty look from it.
The White Fine Embossing Powder has superfine particles that you can get clean white embossed effect no matter how the sentiment is small. The only thing you need be careful is not to apply too much ink before you pour powder when you stamp images.

For my second card, I fussy cut the Wild Rose images. I cut oval frame out of a 110 Neenah White then I applied Wow Glitter Hot Gossip on it using Wow Embossing Pad and heat set it. I repeated three times.

To make a background, I ink blended a piece of A2 sized Bristol Paper using Distress Inks : Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, and Evergreen Borough. I then splattered water and used paper towel to remove excess water.

Next, I stamped a  sentiment from Encouraging Greetings set  on the center with  Wow Embossing Pad and heat embossed it using Wow Metallic  Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder.

I foam mounted the Oval Frame, then I adhered blossoms and leaves around it using glue and foam tapes.

Thank you for reading this post.
Now your next stop is Marion's blog.
Have fun!
