Ellen Hutson Pin Sights Challenge , January mood board

Hello, crafty friends!
I enjoyed Sunday afternoon doodling with watercolor.
Being inspired by the beautiful mood board from the current Pin Sights challenge at Ellen Hutson blog , I made this card.

This is the inspiration mood board.
(Click the image to link to the blog)

To begin, I stamped Mondo Hydrangea on a watercolor paper using Versafine onyx black ink, then watercolored it using Daniel Smith watercolor paints.

Then I splattered some black and gold inks, wrapped the panel with pink ribbon, and then foam mounted it onto a cardbase.
As a final touch, I put some Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix by Pretty Pink Posh.
Frankly speaking, I just forgot to stamp sentiment. Hope this card would be for any kinds of greetings!

Daniel Smith paints I used are :
Rose of Ultramarine, Ultramarine Turquoise, Prussian Blue, Quinacridone rose, Blue Apatite Gen, New Gamboge, Sap Green, Undersea Green, Prussian Green

To color hydrangeas, I mixed three different colors of purple/blue/turquoise, added layers of colors until I'm satisfied.
For the splatters, I used some gold and black ink from prima marketing watercolors.

Thanks for reading this post.
Have a good day!

[Ellen Hutson] January Mix It Up Challenge with Concord&9th

Hello, there!
We need to mix Concord&9th and Essentials by Ellen products.
I have several products for each brand, so this looked very exciting.
What shall I choose and mix? It's such a fun question, isn't it?
So here goes my card.

I chose Cozy Lady set from Essentials by Ellen, Layers of Love Dies and You're My Person Stamp set from Concord&9th.

I colored cozy lady with copic markers, and diecut it using coordinating dies.

Then, I matched the image with heart cut background.

I cut a few strips from the heart frame to make a small window, inked edges with a distress ink, then stamped a sentiment inside the frame.

Then I stamped blocked sentiments from "You're My Person" Stamp set, and hand-cut it.

To add cozy feeling, I put some enamel dots.

Thanks for reading this post.
Enjoy your day!
