CASology 257/Tuesday Throwdown 351-Let your dreams soar

Hello and welcome
I made another card for the current CASology #257 & Tuesday Throwdown challenge #351, simply because the themes "wish" and "one layer card" are both so attractive.
(click the images below to link to the challenge blog)

So, this is my second card.
Here, I wanted to express dynamic dolphin jumping out of the water with the sentiment "Let your dreams soar".

Dolphin and sentiment are from Pretty Pink Posh, wave stamps are from Simon Says Stamp.
All images and sentiment are stamped one layer on a white card stock base.

Guest Designing at Colorthrowdown Challenge - CTD451

Hello and welcom to my blog.
Today I have a happy news that I'm guest designing for this week's Colorthrowdown Challenge, CTD451.
Since I've loved the CTD color combos and beautiful works by talented design team ladies, I feel so honored for this opportunity.

The current challenge colors are shown in the image below, which are dark pink, pale pink, green, and white.
(Click the image to link to the challenge site)

So this is my card for the colors.

I used "Dearest Peony" stamp from the Ton.
To do no-line watercoloring, I inked the stamp with distress inks antique linen for flower, shebby shutter for leaves. Then I stamped it onto a watercolor paper, then watercolored using zig clean brush markers.
Then I added a little bit of shades using some polychromo pencils.

Next, I stamped sentiment from the same stamp set, rounded a string and put the panel onto a white card base. As a final touch, I put some Sparkling clear sequins mix from pretty pink posh here and there.

 Thanks for reading this post.
Hope you enjoyed it.
Please come to the CTD and have fun making cards with these gorgeous colors! :)

Simon Says Stamp - Multi-color Stamping of Solid Images using pigment dye inks - Dancing Fruit

Hello and Welcome to my blog.
Today I'm going to share three cards made using multi-color stamping of solid images.
I used new Dancing Fruit stamps set which is among the "One of a Kind Release" from Simon Says Stamp.

Here are my cards.

First, I cut 3 tags using stitched dress up tag wafer die from white card stock paper, then stamped each fruit image of Dancing Fruit using various colors of pigment inks, giving some gradient in colors at the same time, which is called multi-color stamping.
I stamped apple, pineapple and pear on each tag using mini MISTI

Here are inks that I used.

For an apple, I used lemon zest, orange slush, and water melon which are included SSS hybrid ink pad cube set fresh fruit. I fell in love the bright colors that these hybrid cube inks came out with ! The inks set is highly recommendable.

For the pineapple, I used Altenew's pigment inks : Buttercream, Warm sunshine, and Caramel Toffee Frayed Leaf and Evergreen

For the pear, I used green in Kelly's Fashion Ink set which has very bright color, and Frayed Leaf and Evergreen from altenew.

After finishing stamping, then I put each tag on various patterned papers and card base.
The designs were not predetermined, I just chose and cut patterned papers going after my heart. All the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh

This second card was especially made for entry into the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #75, were the theme is  "Black and White with a Splash."
The sentiment is from "See You Soon" that was included in Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit.

For the 3rd, I used green enamel dots for embellishment :)

Thanks for reading this post.
I hope you enjoyed it.
Major supplies are linked in the text just FYI.
One layer multicolor stamping was so fun, maybe I will try a few more cards with this technique :)

Blessings.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sea Friends & Scallop Diamond Tags

Hello and welcome to my blog :)
Today I'm sharing a care featuring Sea Friends stamps sets from Pretty Pink Posh July Release.

I first cut two A2 sized panel out of a watercolor card stock, then distressed them with distress inks. I used tumbled glass, mermaid lagoon, salty ocean, faded jean and chipped sapphire. Then I splattered with water and let them dry.
I die-cut one panel into a big shaker frame using scallop diamond tags dies & stitched diamonds dies. I also cut a piece of heat-stable acetate film into a diamond shape that will fit into the shaker frame, stamped a sentiment from Summer Friends with versamark ink on it , then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I stamped sea friends images on a copic friendly white card stock, then colored each image with copic markers, and then cut them all using coordinating dies.

I foam mounted the A2 size distress panel onto a white card base, and placed stamped images here and there. Then I put Mermaid Sequins Mix on the center of the card, then adhered the shaker frame over them. I glued more pieces around the shaker element, and final touch was adding some sparkling clear sequins mix

Thanks for reading this post.
Hope you enjoyed it.
I added direct link to the product page for each of the major PPP supplies in the text.

Have a good day all!

Pretty Pink Posh-Bear Hugs & other new release for July!

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I'm sharing four cards featuring "Bear Hugs" Stamps sets and other products from Pretty Pink Posh.
All are included in July Release which will be available on July 10th!

For the first card, I stamped the images from Bear Hugs with versafine onyx black ink and then heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

I then watercolored them using distress ink Iced Spruce.
Background was colored using distress ink Shebby Shutter.
Once it was dry, I put sentiments & strings on it and foam mounted onto a kraft card base.

In this second card, I used Scallop Diamond Tags dies from July release.

This die set is so unique in shape, you can also make a small window with the die set.
Here, I colored Bear Hug images with copic markers and cut them using coordinating dies.

Look inside the cute little diamond window ! :)

In this 3rd card, I used both Bear Hugs and Fly a Kite stamps sets.
Coloring was done using copic markers.
Stitched frame was made using Stitched Notes dies.

The 4th card used  Bear Hugs and Smile Shaker Die with Sunny Days Sequins Mix for shaker elements.

I cut A2 sized panel and sponged it with distress inks : Squeezed lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn. The I added some splatters of water.

I love how the sunny days mix sequins look well with background colors.

Altenew-Flower Challenge #10 - July

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I'm sharing a card for entry into the current flower challenge #10, which opens monthly. And the theme for July challenge is "Embossing heat or dry".
Click the image below to link to the challenge post.

So I made a flower card using heat embossing.
The stamp I used here is "Enchanted Iris" from Altenew.

For the background, I cut a white card stock into 4x5.25 inch size, then blended it lightly using distress oxide Broken China, then added some splatters of water, distress spray (broken china), and heidi swapp gold spray, then let them dry.

I stamped the flowers and leaves on a watercolor paper, heat embossed them with gold embossing powder, colored them with zig clean real brush markers. Main colors I used are violet, bright yellow, Deep geeen and light green.

Then I cut them using coordinating dies and then glued them on the background panel, and rounded a string. I stamped sentiments and put some crystal sequins here and there.

Then I foam mounted the panel onto a navy card base made with navy card stock paper from altenew.

Thanks for reading this post.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Blessings.
