SSS DieCember-The Best is Yet to Come

Hi, friends!
I hope you are enjoying the new Simon Says Stamp DieCember Release and the Blog Hop which is going through the whole week.

Today, I'm going to share another card featuring The Best is Yet to Come Dies from the DieCember Collection. Since I wanted to create festive moods on my card, I used gold as the main color.

I started by die-cutting it out of white card stock and Harvest Gold Mirror cardstock and set them aside.

Next, I prepared a piece of Bristol paper, and then I ink blended it using some Distress Inks : Festive Berries, Seedless Preserves, Wild Honey, and Carved Pumpkins. I then die-cut the panel again using Stitched Whirls Die to give a unique texture to it.

I splattered with White Gouache all over the panel, let them dry, then I trimmed the panel into 3.75x 5 inches. In turn, I applied embossing ink on the four edges and heat embossed them with Gold embossing powder

To finish my card, I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base made with 110LB Neenah White, then foam mounted The Best is Yet to Come die-cuts, and added some sequins.

That's it for today. Thank you for reading today's post. I hope you enjoyed it!

Here are my cards for challenge inspiration. I used Retro Petals Turnabout Stamp set.

I started by stamping Retro Petals Turnabout Stamp on a piece of 5.5×5.5 inch 80lb Neenah white paper using Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. I stamped each turn with different colors of Simon Says Dye Inks : Cotton Candy, Doll Pink, Barely Beige and Orange Slush.

Next, I trimmed the panel into A2 size then adhered it onto A2 sized top folded card base I made using Simon's Doll Pink Card Stock

Big Happy diecut was made out of Simon Copper Glitter paper & scrap white cardstock then was foam mounted onto the panel. I added a slip of vellum paper between diecut and background panel. I also used a small sentiment "BIRTHDAY" block from Beautiful Flowers set. I then adhered some 6mm and 4mm clear droplets as a final touch.

For my two blue cards, I used Simon Dye Inks - Barely Beige, Audrey Blue, and Surf Blue- and an Altenew ink Rocky Shore. Then I made custom card base using Simon's Audrey Blue Card Stock

And in the last card, I heat embossed sentiments from Everything Together set in white on Vellum paper and adhered it onto background panel.

I added twine and Metallic Gold sequins as a final touch.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge : Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is

Anything Goes

We are showcasing Art Impressions Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would sure love to see them used!

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your creative makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!

Here are my cards for the challenge inspiration. I used Cottage Circlet Mini TryFolds Stamp and Die set.

The Cottage Circlet Mini TryFolds Stamp and Die set is a fun set that you can create a tri-fold card by using three circular images and coordinating dies. There's also a kind instruction on how to use them in the package.

The circular images are small which are around 2 inches so that they might be suitable for mini cards.

To begin my first card, I prepared 4x11inch 80 Neenah White paper and I scored two lines at with a width of 3 and 5/8 along the 11 inch side.  Next, I stamped images and cut out windows using coordinating dies according to the insert guide. I used copic markers for coloring. You can see how they look one by one with clockwise order in the above photo. To hide copic marker stain on the back of central card base, I simply adhered a piece of pattern paper on it.

To embellish the outer surface, I stamped a sentiment from Showers and Flowers set, then I adhered mini leaves I made using Wreath Greetings Stamp and Coordinating Dies together with Ivory Twine Ribbon.

I thought my first card looks too simple although the making process was not that easy, so I decided to make another one in a different way. Here it is.

I stamped the three circular images together on the same panel, cut out windows using coordinating dies. The scenes were colored using copic markers and the background panel was ink blended using distress inks and then put behind the front panel by using foam tapes to give the card dimensional look.

I didn't want empty spaces on the front panel so I stamped sentiments from Showers and Flowers set and Wreath Greetings Stamp set.
I finished off the card by adhereing the panels onto a card base I made using SSS Lemon Chiffon Card Stock. I didn't add sequins to maintain a clean look.

I really love how I could create two different styles of cards by using the TryFold Stamp and Dies set from Art Impressions. Isn't it so cool? ♡

[Simon Says Stamp] Summertime Cards

Hi, there!
I'm sharing three summer themed cards featuring Summertime Wafer Dies and other recent products from Simon Says Stamp, today.
To be honest, these were all made of some scraps that had been left after making my recent cards.

Here's the first one.

I started by ink blending of an A2 sized bristol paper using Grassy Edges Stencil and Cloud for Days Stencil. I used Peeled Paint, Tattered Rose and Worn lipstick.  Next, I cut the panel using Summertime Wafer Dies to make a shaker card. I put various sequins and seed beads from Pretty Pink Posh into it then I adhered Classic Bicycle diecuts on the front panel.

For my second card, I made an alcohol ink panel using three pastel colors of alcohol ink amd Yupo paper. Then I cut it with Summertime Wafer Dies . I prepared A2 sized Ivory Cardstock, then I gave it stitched lines patterns by using MFT Basic Stitch Lines Dies.

After I adhered the panel onto Orange Peel Card base, I finished off the card by adding some enamel dots.
The design concept of this card was inspired from my very talented friend Michele Ferguson , HERE
Thank you, Michele!

My third card is also a shaker as the first one but I made the shaker panel pop up this time.
I started by making background panel out of pattern paper  that was in the June Simon Says Stamp Kit with diecutting it using Stitched Wall Background Dies.

In order to ground the Summertime shaker, I also added Flower Cluster Diecuts and Bikini Diecuts. As a final embellishment, I added Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst Jewels

So now I finished my three cards. Which one is your favorite? ;)

Thanks for reading this. I hope you enjoyed it.
Have a wonderful day!

[Simon Says Stamp] June Release - Good Vibes Collection - Strangeness

Hi, crafty friends!
It's the day of the brand new June Release "Good Vibes" by Simon Says Stamp
Today, I'm sharing my cards featuring "STRANGENESS" stamp set

I watercolored them using Daniel Smith Watercolor Paints and added splatters of dark ink and white ink.

Sentiment was heat embossed in white using Wow Opaque Bright White Super Fine embossing powder. This fine powder helps you a lot to heat emboss small or thin letters.

After I foam mounted the panel onto Neenah Desert Storm Card Base, I finished it off by adding 4mm Metallic Rose gold6mm Metallic Rose Gold sequins and Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix from Pretty Pink Posh.

The second card was also painted with Daniel Smith Watercolors. I foam mounted the panel onto Island Blue Card Base, and then embellished it using Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix  and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

The Strangeness Stamp Set is such unique in its images and sentiments and I love the quote "There is no beauty without some strangeness".

I was actually inspired by this quote so I added some strangeness in my watercoloring, today. Did you like it?

Thank you for reading this post.
 Happy Shopping !
