Simon Says Stamp DieCember® Blog Hop Day-2

Hello, there!
I'm so honored to be joining the Simon Says Stamp Dicember®  Blog Hop Day 2, today. Thank you for inviting me to this party, Simon Team.

As this is Day 2 of Blog Hop, we already had Blog Hop Day 1, last Sunday.  Please be sure to visit the Day 1 Blog Hop Post if you haven't done so far.
I'm especially excited about the Diecember Release since I'm a Dies person rather than a stamper. I started my crafting journey by purchasing a Big Shot machine a few years ago after I was amazed by so many beautiful paper crafting works. Honestly I even hadn't known stamps before then, lols !!
So, which one do you prefer between Dies and Stamps? Please let me know!! :)

If you came here from amazing Karin's  blog, then you are on a right track. Or you can start your hops at Simon Says Stamp Blog , too.

I started by diecutting Big Picture Book Panda Dies and Little Body Dies out of Ivory Card Stock and coloring the pieces using my Copic Markers. The copic colors I used were W10-W9-W8 for black and R32-R20-R30-R00 for pink. I then assembled the pieces to an adorable panda by using double sided adhesive tape.

For the background, I used Stitched Whirl Background Dies & Lawn Fawn paper 6×6, Leafy Frame DiesIvory Card Stock.  I then slipped a heart I made using Clipping Heart Die on his hands. I really love how Little Body Dies let our critters hold things on their hands . Too cute, isn't it?

I made more hearts and connected them with a string to make a garland. For letters, I used Small Rounded Alphabet Dies set which is also part of new Dicember® release.

Here's another design featuring Little Body Dies which perfectly matches with any of Big Picture Book critters. I used Fox Dies from Simon's STAMPtember Release.

If you love Big Picture Book  collection, then this Little Body Dies is a must-have!

My next two cards features Small Rounded Alphabet Dies set and I've summarized details breifly below each photo.

Supplies : Small Rounded Alphabet Dies , Nested Talk Bubbles Dies, Neenah Texture CardStock, CZ design Simple Sentiments No.1, foam tape, Twine, various colors of cardstock & copic markers.
Technique : In-laid diecutting

Supplies : Small Rounded Alphabet Dies, Kadyn Snowflake, Wonky Rectangles Dies, Drifting Stitches Borders,  Neenah Texture CardStock, Rainbow Christmas paper, Pearl White Jewels, Midnight Black Jewels, Wink of Stella Clear.

That's it from me for today.
Now your next stop to hop along isAnna-Karin's blog. Thank you so much for your visiting and be sure to visit all the blogs listed below. I know you will get a lot of beautiful inspiration. Don't miss the sales and giveaway information, too.

We are welcoming the lovely and super talented Maaike aka Cards by Maaike into the Designer Spotlight this month! Please hop on over to say 'Hi' and leave her a nice comment!

Now, here are some gift card bags I made using Gift Card Bag,  Fresh Baked 1, and Tattered Christmas set from Tim Holtz Collection.
These bags are very small and they just fit with regular gift cards.

I started by diecutting Gift Card Bag out of Neenah Desert Storm paper and assembled card envelopes. I then embellished each bag using stamps and dies about which I have shared details below.

For the mitten bag, I heat embossed Critter Sweaters in white on Peacock Teal Cardstock, then cut using Fresh Baked 1 Dies to make a mitten.  Sentiment from the same set was heat embossed in white and I fussy cut it into banner shape. Stamped Frozen Fractals on the bag using Frayed Burlap.

For the snowman bag, I assembled a snowman using Fresh Baked 1 Dies. Colored pieces were cut from Neenah Desert Storm paper and I used distress inks and copic markers to color them. For snowy background, I used my White pen to express falling snow and ground.

The tree image was from Tattered Christmas set. I colored the tree using Altenew Brush Markers and waterbrush then I cut it using Tattered Christmas Coordinating Dies. I further embellished my bag using some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels.

So now it’s YOUR turn.
 Happy Crafting

Clean and Simple One Layer Christmas Card

Hi, friends!
Today, I would love to share CAS christmas cards inspired by some challenges.

I used Hometown Christmas set, Stained Glass Greetings set, and Caroling Critters set for stamping.
I did a little coloring to give focal visual point using my copic markers.
This is really a 3-minute design so I hope it will help you make christmas cards quickly.

Although there are some technical errors here, I love that I came out with these by combination of a couple of challenge inspiration.

I was inspired by and I would love to enter my cards into these challenges!

I hope I didn't go out of the sketch so much 😅

Thanks for your visit.
Have a lovely day.

Simple Christmas Cards ideas with ink blending

Hi, friends!
Today, I'm going to share simple Christmas card designs using ink blending. Today's post features Layered Tree Dies from Pretty Pink Posh and premium dye inks from Simon Says Stamp

Since Simon Says Stamp has showcased new assortments of it's inks collection, I would recommend to take a look at them again :)

To begin my cards, I diecut trees out of Neenah Texture White paper and green colored plaid paper. I then inked edges of green diecut using Beanstock Green ink and a blending tool. I glued the layers and then rounded gold chain around the trees and set them aside.

For my first card I used Audrey Blue, Surf Blue, Scuba and Mint on Bristol paper.
I then splattered with White Gouache and brilliant gold from Prima Metallic Accents.

I stamped a sentiment from Caroling Critters set and I foam mounted my tree on the panel. To express ornaments on tree, I adhered various colors of Pretty Pink Posh jewels

For my second card's background, I used Cotton Candy, Rosie Cheeks, and Coral Reef.

For splatters, I used White Gouache and Celestial from Prima Metallic Accents. I also added more snowy details by using a white gel pen

That's it from me for today.
I've shown how to make soft colored background by using some of my favorite inks and I love how Layered Tree Dies set lets us make quick & pretty christmas cards.
Hope you will like them, too.
By the way, which one would you prefer? 😂

Thanks for your stopping by!
Have a great day.

Simon Says Stamp - Simple watercolor flower card

Hi, there!
Today, I had some free time to enjoy my new goodies from Simon Says Stamp.

To begin, I stamped the large bouquet on A2 sized 140lb Cold Press Watercolor paper using Distress Ink Antique Linen

Then I used Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers for watercoloring. These markers are highly pigmented and they have bright colors so that they are perfect for coloring flowers. I just stained the colors from Brush Markers a little onto my image then I used water to blend them out. I added different colors on them or I mixed two~three colors before coloring to create more various shades.

After I finished coloring, I stamped sentiment from the same Sketched Flowers Stamp set then I foam mounted the panel onto A2 card base, added Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins

Thanks for reading my post, today.
Have a nice day :)
