SSS July 2019 Believe In You Release Inspiration

Hi, friends!
I'm so happy to share the news that the whole new release from Simon Says Stamp, which is called Believe In You Collection, is now available at the store. As always, the new release is full of lots of fun items including the ones I'm showcasing today.
So here goes my card for which I used two new products from the Believe In You release.

I started by stamping Never Quit Swimming and I cut the images using my Scan N Cut machine. Next, I chose a dolphin image for my card design and colored it using my Copic Markers.

Next, I diecut a piece of white cardstock with SSS Pebbles Dies and stamped a sentiment "Good Luck" from  Clean Line Everyday set on the top of the Pebbles pattern. For the background, I wanted to express a deep ocean, so I ink-blended another piece of Bristol Paper using the dye inks Star Light and Teal Blue.

I then foam mounted the white cover panel onto the ink-blended one and foam mounted my colored dolphin on the top right corner. In order to give some color accent, I heat embossed a small sentiment block from the same Clean Line Everyday set in white on red cardstock (Schoolhouse Red Cardstock), and adhered it on the center as shown in the picture.

Finally,  I adhered the panels onto a card base made with Fog Gray Cardstock and embellished my card with some iridescent sequins. For the coloring of dolphin, I used BG78/BG75/BG72/BG70 first then I added more blue shades using B39/B37/B34 as far as I remember.

Here's another card which features Faceted Stripes Stencil and Today Will Be Awesome Dies from the New Release.  I used Tropical Forest dye inks set and  Warm And Cozy dye inks set for stenciling, then I splattered with white, gold, and black metallic ink over the panel.

The background square for Today Will Be Awesome Dies was ink blended with the same Star Light and Teal Blue inks I had previously used for my first card, then I simply foam-mounted the white front diecut panel onto the colored one for a dimensional look.

Again, I foam mounted the square block onto the stencil background and finished off the card by adding some Gold Metallic Sequins and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins

I love the simplicity of Faceted Stripes Stencil and Today Will Be Awesome Dies, which makes your card design very clean and simple.

That's it from me for today. Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoyed my cards.

Please visit the  Believe in You Gallery for more inspiration, where you can also share your own inspiration by uploading your projects.

I'll be back soon with other new projects featuring the Believe In You  Release.

Have a wonderful day!
Marge ♡
