Hi, friends!
It's finally a time for Simon Says Stamp's New Release Fun and Festive Collection.
How exciting it is!
As always, there are so many awesome products in the release , and I'm going to share my cards featuring some of them with you, today.
I used Christmas Wishes and Winter Scene Stamp sets from the new release.
For my first card, I cut two pieces of A2 sized panel using Neenah Texture White Card Stock on which I like their elegant dry-embossed texture.
Next , I diecut an oval window in one panel using Holly Oval Frame Dies and I added some colors to the window borders using copic markers. I then trimmed the panel using Wonky Rectangles dies.
For the background panel, I stamped large sentiments block from Christmas Wishes set on it with Versafine Onyx Black Ink with a guide of the front panel in positioning stamp on my mini-MISTI tool. Then I trimmed panel into a little smaller than the front panel.
Next, I assembled the two panels using foam ahesives to give it some dimensional look , and then I adhered it to a card base I made using SSS Peacock Teal Card stock.
To embellish the card I added colored pieces from Winter Scene set, which I had colored using copic markers and then cut using my SCAN N CUT machine. You can also use Winter Scene Coordinating Dies for this.
In addition, I added small star diecut from Crimson Glitter Card Stock on top of the sentiment, sparkling touch to the leaves and berries using Stickes Diamond, and Metallic Gold Sequins 6mm & 4mm.
My secon card was also made in a similar way with the first one. This time, I used Forest Collage Dies & Wonky Rectangles dies for the front panel, and Neenah Texture Red Card Stock as a card base.
FYI, copic marker colors I used for both cards are E40-E41-E42-E43 (window borders), G29-G24-G21-G20 ( leaves & trees), R46 (berries), E31~E37 (deer), E21~E27 (deer) , R39-R27-R14 (house), E18-E37-E35-E33-E31-E30 (roof).
I love how the Christmas Wishes Stamp set can be used in various ways and I just adore those cute images from Winter Scene Stamp set. You will see so many gorgeous cards using these two as well as other Fun and Festive products by card designers out there.
That's it from me for today. Hope you enjoyed it. I'll be back soon with more new cards so please be sure to visit on another day :)
Thank you!
Marge ♡
