Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® 2018 Blog Party

Hi, there and welcome to my blog for the super fun Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Blog Party, today.
Please read until the end of this post and you will find a surprise banner that has special sale code in it ;)

I shared a card featuring Big Picture Book Fox Dies yesterday(click here), and I have two more cards to share with you here.

I started by diecutting Big Picture Book Fox Dies out of Cream Off White Card Stock and I colored the diecuts using various colors of copic markers.
The faces were so that I couldn't stop making them. As I wanted to give them a very lovely background, I chose soft tone plaid pattern paper.

I also added a white diecut border I made from Wavy Scallop Stitches Dies, where I stamped a sentiment from Messages for Everyday set and then adhered Big Friend Diecut which had been colored with copic markers.

I assembled the card one by one from Peacock Teal Card Base, blue plaid background, white wavy scallop border, foxes and finally to enamel dots using glue and foam tapes when necessary.

For my second card, I made a circle window out of Neenah Texture White Card Stock using Frond Collage Dies. I then colored the leaves in green and brown using Zig Clean Real Brush Markers. In turn I cut the panel using Wonky Rectangles Dies and foam mounted it onto a piece of soft green Plaid Paper to make it look dimensional.

Next, I adhered Big Picture Book Fox Diecuts I had colored and assembled using foam tapes.
I chose a sentiment from Yes You Can set and heat embossed it in white, then I cut the paper in fishtail tag shape. Wow Bright White Super Fine Embossing Powder is perfect for small se timents like this.

In order to give my card some clean and natural look, I rounded Ivory Twine and made a bow (I chose Ivory instead of Natural Twine as I wanted clean look ). Sentiment piece was placed on the twine and fixed with foam tapes too.

As a final step, I adhered the panel onto Fog Gray card base , then I finished it off by adding some Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix.

Can you tell the three different color schemes on my foxes today? I used W gray copic matkers, E09-E07-R05-E04, and E49-E59-E57-E55 for each . Which one is your favorite color shade?

Here's anothet set of cards featuring our Beautiful Flowers 2 and Mod Stripe Stencil :)

To begin, I stamped Beautiful Flowers 2 on 80lb Neenah White, and I cut them using my Scan N Cut, but you can use Beautiful Flowers 2 Coordinating Dies. Next, I colored the images using copic markers.

For the first card, I trimmed a 4×5.25 inch panel out of Ivory Card Stock, then I ink blended it very lightly using Distress Oxides. I then placed Mod Stripe Stencil on the panel and ink blended with the same colored Distress Oxides again to make tone-on-tone look. In turn, I applied Nuvo Glimmer Paste through the stencil to give the background some sparkling and dimension.

Next, I cut a vellum piece into 3×4.25 inch, and adhered it onto the stencil background with Ivory Twine Ribbon on it.  I then foam mounted a flower in the center with a sentiment blcok that was chosen from  Message for Everyday and was heat embossed in white using Super Fine White Embossing Powder.

Finally, I foam mounted the panel onto Ivory Card Base and finished off the card by adding Metallic Gold Sequins in 6mm and 4mm.

For my second card, I decided to go simple.

First, I cut a Diamond Pattern panel out of 110lb Neenah White paper, then I adhered it onto white card base using pop dots.

I then adhered Beautiful Flowers 2 images using foam tapes and a Natural Twine Ribbon as shown in the picture. To embellish the card I added some Ivory Jewels.

I really love this Beautiful Flowers 2 set which has several small floral pieces and  large bouqet in it as well. It is so versatile that you can create lots of designs with just one stamp set. I'll share another card using this set later in a few days :)

That's it from me for today.
