Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge : Use a Die and/or Punch

wed-newchallenge-header

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
Thank you for joining us for the Fun In The Sun Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

Use A Die and/or Punch

We are showcasing Birch Press Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would sure love to see them used!

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store!

Here's my card for the challenge inspiration.
I used Kessa Arch Layer Set which consists of three dies designated as A, B, and C from top to bottom layers.

I started by diecutting Kessa Arch Layer Set out of 80lb Neenah White paper and adhering the layers in order from A-B-C.

Next, I stamped Center Cut Geometric Cling stamp onto 140lb Cold Pressed Watercolor paper using Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed it in white. I watercolored this panel using Daniel Smith Watercolor Hansa Yellow Medium and Quinacridone Coral.

Next, I diecut Big Thanks Dies out of Simon Says Stamp Copper Glitter paper and Thick Vellum to adhere onto my white diecut panel. A small sentiment was chosen from Big Thanks Words Stamp set and heat embossed in white on Dark Chocolate Card Stock.

I adhered my panels onto a card base I had made using Schoolhouse Red Card Stock, then I adhered sentiments on it. I thought I needed some mini florals to embelish the card, so I pulled out my Bold Blooms Stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh. I stamped the images on 110lb Neenah White using Distress Ink Antique Linen, colored them using copic markers, and then I cut them all using Bold Blooms Coordinating Dies.

Copic markers I used are : G29-G07-YG03, Y38-Y17-Y15, R46-R43 etc.
I adhered my mini floral images around the sentiment using glue and foam tapes .

I finished off the card by adding Sparkling Clear sequins and Ballerina Pink Sequins.

I made another card using the Kessa Arch Layer Set to use up some scraps.

Do you remember the dark navy watetcolor card I made two weeks ago? The navy colored circle in this card is actually from a left over negative diecut from the previous card. All other design papers used here are also scraps, and the top floral one is from the June Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

I stamped a sentiment from Encouraging Greetings using Embossing Ink then heat set it in white.

I used vellum paper, May Arts Ivory twines, and Sparkling Clear sequins as embellishment.
I have to say that I favor this blue card, lols!
