Hello and Welcome !
Today I'm going to share with you two cards made with Pretty Pink Posh Products .
But first, I would like to tell you about my preference in card styles.
When I make cards other than vintage styles (oh, I actually love vintage the best!), I pursue cute, pretty, neat and bright ones.
For this, I enjoy using copic markers when coloring mostly than watercoloring.
I also love to give my cards some dimensions rather than just to make one layer cards.
So I love various cutting dies as well as stamps, and that's the reason why I fell in love with Pretty Pink Posh.
When I got to know Pretty Pink Posh, the first item that I was fascinated with was a scalloped tag die, which I hadn't seen such unique shape in other craft brands.
When I have no new idea on card designs, I just follow my own preference described above, even though I had already made similar styles before.
Afterall, cardmaking should be a pleasant hobby to relax, it shouldn't be stressful struggling with more creative designs or more techniques.
That's how it went in my today's cards.
So, here is the first one.
I stamped woodland critters stamps sets on a copic friendly white cardstock with memento black ink, and then colored them with copic markers and cut out them using coordinating dies.
Then I die cut a scallop circle tags dies and distress it with distress oxide inks : Spice marmalade, fossilized amber, and cracked pistachio . I added some splatters of water onto it, then made a hole using a punch.
I chose a thick brown cardbase and a sheet of diagonal striped pattern paper for background and some sentiments from 'thoughtful greetings' stamps set.
To give more dimensional look, I foam mounted the scallop circle tag diecut and white card stock.
Then I put the previousely cut images onto the scalloped circle tag, then sequins, and then natural twins finally.
I used 'spring meadow sequins' and 'sparkling clear sequins mix'.
For the second card, I used similar layout with the first card except using scallop square tag dies instead of circle tag dies.
I blended the tag die with distress oxide ink : worn lipstick, fossilized amber, and cracked pistachio.
To give some more natural look, I chose a natural card stock, a soft toned plaid paper and a white card base.
Sentiments were from 'Everyday Greetings' stamps set.
I used 'sparkling clear sequins mix' and '6 mm Champagne sequins'.
That's it .
These little critters are so cute, so coloring them always makes me feel pleasant.
I really enjoyed the whole process of making these.
Thanks for reading this post.
Hope you'll like these cards too
Happy Weekend!
