Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to my blog for the Rest and Refresh Release Blog Hop Day1 by Simon Says Stamp. This is the final stop for today and most of you might have come from so much talented Barb's Blog, but please also visit the Simon Says Stamp Blog to make sure that you didn't miss any of the hop stops.
Now, let's take a quick look at my cards for today :)
< Card 1. Filigree Wreath Thanks >
I used in lay diecutting technique with Filigree Wreath Die on Ivory Cardstock. I foam mounted Thanks Frame Die-cuts on the center, where I used a negative diecut for 'thanks'. For embellishment, I adhered various colors of Jewels here and there.
<Card 2. Filigree Flower Thanks >
Here's another card made with in-lay diecutting, which features Filigree Flower Die.
Because the die shape is a blossom, I added a stem and leaves using More Spring Flowers Dies.
I cut the panel with Waverly Dies to add lovely scalloped borders and foam mounted it onto a top-folded card base made of Neenah Desert Storm paper.
"Thanks" was cut twice from brown cardstock using the Thanks Frame Die and glued together. I also stamped a small sentiment from Big Thanks Words below the diecut.
Here's another set of three cards which feature Hexagon Element Die with different color palettes.
< Card 3. Hexagon Hello >
I cut the Hexagon Element from white watercolor paper, and I also cut it from various colors of cardstocks. I simply adhered the Hexagon frame and then in-laid negative pieces from cardstocks into the hexagon frame.
"Hello" made of Hello You Stamp and Hello Die was put onto the panel using Strips foam adhesives. Gray card base was made with Neenah Texture paper collection.
< Card 4. Hexagon Hold On >
For this card, I used a pink-gray-gold color palette.
The card base was made of Cotton Candy cardstock. I foam mounted hold on and a small sentiment from Tiny Words Set was heat embossed in white using Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.
I love how the foam adhesives give scripts some dimension and make them look popped up on the background.
< Card 5. Hexagon Be Brave >
For my last card, I used the same layout but with different color scheme, and the card base was made of Peacock Teal cardstock. Sentiments were chosen from Yes You Can set.
Love this Hexagon Element has so many possibilities to be designed.
That's it from me for today. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed it.
