Simon Says Stamp Kids Summer Vacation Challenge

Kid'sChallenge-01

Welcome to another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid's Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

ANYTHING GOES WITH SPARKLE

It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity. Adults are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible.
You can enter as many times as you like, just remember to add your link into the inlinkz system at the bottom of this post! If you have several entries on the same post add ?1. ?2, ?3 etc at the end of the url and they will be accepted into the system.

The Design Team all love this challenge and are ready and waiting to pop over to your blog to see your creations!

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon. All winners are chosen at random, Good Luck to all!

For your inspiration, I'm sharing my daughter's creations today :)
She is Sophia, 8 year old girl, who's been in love with crafting since my early time of cardmaking. She loves to color, to play with sequins or jewels things, and to make her own restaurant menus and decorate them.

Here's the first one.

As a daughter of Pretty Pink Posh designer, it is no wonder that she likes to play with sparkling embellishments as much as I do!

In this card, she stamped Sparkling Dot Patterns 1 set using Distress Ink Antique Linen, then adhered various colors and sizes of Pretty Pink Posh Jewels on it.
I was amazed at how she arranged colors and sizes, which I would never think of such ways. Aren't they beautiful and unique? I really love the color gradation she made.

She also did some more stamping using Friends Forever and Thoughtful Greetings set. I I love her ways of choosing colors and positioning of sentiment.
What I did for her were diecutting the panel by using Wonky Rectangle Dies and adhering the panel onto a card base made of Simon Says Card Stock Surf Blue.

I would love to share more of her creations she had been making before, so here they are.

When I make cards she often sits down next to me and makes her own things using my craft supplies. While looking at all of them, I thought it would be nice to make one of them into card so I picked the one and adhered it onto a card base made with Simon Says Card Stock Peacock Teal.

In this second card, Sophia colored the images from Under the Sea Animals using copic makers and then adhered some Aquamarine Jewels which I guess she wanted to express air bubbles.
Here's the final collection.

Thanks for looking at my daughter's works!
Hope you liked them.

I can't wait to see your kids' creations in our Kids Summer Vacation Challenge!
I know I will love them :)
Kids, enjoy your vacation with crafting !
