CASE This Sketch #235

Hello, there
Today I'm sharing some cards I made using Simon Says Stamp's August Card Kit.

I've been a little bit busy since the early this month as I had to make several cards for guest designing here and there. All were great experience to me and I really enjoyed the whole process . Those cards will be posted in September.

So, I finally had some free time today,  I took out Simon Says Stamps' card kit. The SSS kit is always so wonderful that it makes your cardmaking easy and speedy!
Thanks to the kit, I could make 8 cards at one sitting today.
Each paper sheet, stamp, and stickers were just too pretty, I couldn't stop playing.

First, I'm showing a card for entry into the current Case This Sketch #235.

This is my take on the sketch .

All the stripes and hearts patterns are stamped images from SSS Card Kit using hybrid inks .

I also added various colors of Nuvo Jewel drops .

Making patterned papers using stamps was so fun to do.

Here, I'm showing other cards I made from SSS card kit.

I'm also entering three cards below to the current SSS Flickr Challenge #78 where the theme is "Stripes and/or Dots" .

Less is More #341 Guest Design - Wishing harvest blessing

Hello, there!
I'm so honored to be guest designing at Less is More #341 this week, as I was a winner at previous Less is More challenge (#336&337)

The theme for this week is "Vehicle" .
Since this is the 2nd week of the month, I needed to make a one layer card as per the challenge monthly rotation schedule.
How exciting to make a one layer card again!

Click the image below to link to the challenge post.

In the previous challenge, I made a one layer card using pencil coloring, so this time I wanted use copic markers, which are my most favorite coloring media, I'm not any special on them though.

So, here is my card.

Since autumn is coming around, I decided to make an autumn or harvest themed card using vehicle.
Among my stamps stash, Little Pickup from Honey Bee Stamps looked perfect for the purpose.

I cut a A2 sized white card base from a copic friendly paper, then stamped the images using memento black ink, then colored them with copic markers.
After coloring was done, I stamped the sentiment from Harvest Mouse by My Favorite Things using Versafine black ink.

Copic markers I used are :
Car : E59, R39, R29, R27, C3,C5,C7, BG000
Ground : YR21, YR23, YR24, YR27, E59
Pumpkins : YR07, YR04, Y17

Thanks for reading this post.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Thank you for inviting me as a guest designer, Less is More Team.
It was my great honor to be working with you, so much talented ladies.

Simon Says Stamp New Release - Encouraging Words

Hello and welcome !
Today, I'm sharing three cards I made with the new release product from Simon Says Stamp. The brand new releases are "Encouraging Words" collection, and I'm showcasing "Stitched Alphabet" stamps set.

For the first card, I die cut a copic friendly white cardstock paper using stitched dress-up tag dies, stamped stitched alphabet, and colored with copic markers. Colors I used are BG96, YG95, and YG93 for letters. Then I stamped "Forest Friends (SSS101678)" on a copic friendly card stock and colored them using copic markers.
For an owl, I used E41,E42,E43,E44, for a mushroom, I used R39,R29,R27.
Sentiment "are a great friend" is from You + Me stamps set
The patterned paper is from SSS August kit

For second card, I stamped ENJOY and also colored with various copic markers
I diecut SSS roler coaster diess and then sponged with distress inks. Background was distressed with fossilized amber and spiced marmalade.  Sentiment "your dreams" is from Believe stamps set

All stamps I used are from Simon Says Stamp Exclusive lines.

Here is my 3rd card.
I wanted to make a coffee themed card as COFFEE is my favorite :)
In this card "You + Me=" is from You + Me stamps set which is included in SSS August Card Kit.
For COFFEE, I used E59, E57, E55, E31 copic markers.

I also stamped coffee cup images from Coffee and Tea stamps set and colored using copic markers - R39/R29/R27 for red and BG96/YG95/YG93 for olive green. For interest, I added some colored enamel dots from Echo Park products.

To give it a CAS look, I left the other parts of images uncolored, and I love how it came out.

As you can see, the Stitched Alphabet Stamps set is so versatile. You can just choose any words that you like, and then you can easily make gorgeous cards using this stamps set.

I have listed many words that I like so far, like "JOY", "PEACE", "HAPPY", "SEND", "TALK"...too many to write down all.
So, what is your cue word that you want to make from this stamp set ? :)

Thank you for reading this post.
I hope you enjoyed it.
Major supplies I used are linked in the text.
