Pretty Pink Posh- Inspired by All The Little Things #62

I'm sharing a card for Inspired by All the Little Things Challenge #62.

Here is the inspiration Photo.

From this photo, I focused on two things.

Colors and repeated pattern of tiny little things.

So this is my take on this. 

I used Friends Forever, Everyday Greetings stamps sets and Scallop Borders 2 dies from Pretty Pink Posh. 

Coloring was done using copic markers.

To add some interests in the background, I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix.

[Pretty Pink Posh] A congrats Card using Happy Owl Stamps and Stitched Stars dies Set

Hello and Welcome :)

This is my first blog posting as a new design team member of Pretty Pink Posh!

I'm so honored and happy as well, since I have been loving Pretty Pink Posh goodies from the first moment I saw them. 

Thank you for this great opportunity. 

Today I'm sharing a congrats card featuring happy owls set and stitched stars dies .

It's for any occasions of congratulations including wedding, graduation, birth or anythings to be congratulated.

I used memento black ink for stamping and copic markers for coloring .

Main copic numbers for owls I used are E41,E42,E43,E44 which are very neutral brown colors. 

After coloring them, I die cut the images using the happy owls coordinating dies.

I die cut a white cardstock paper using the biggest stitched stars frame die and then cut the lower part of the panel using 'Scallop Borders 2' dies. 

Then I stamped 'congrats' on a heat resistant acetate film with versamark ink, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. 

Tip !!) Even though you use heat-resistant acetate film, it actually shrinks with heat, so be sure to keep some distance between heat gun and acetate film.
Use EK powder tools . It's very important to do especially when you are going to heat emboss on an acetate film, or embossing powders might be stuck in nonstamped areas.

The background of shaker was colored with distress ink 'wild honey' . 

For the shaker elements, I used 'Sparkling clear flowers', 'sparkling clear mix', '3mm sparkling clear' and 'ballerina pink' sequins from pretty pink posh.

After finishing the shaker, I put on the happy owls stmaped images , then placed the shaker panel onto a stripe patterned cardstock which had been already mounted on a side folded cardbase.

Final touch was putting some sequins.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Stencil it" and Flickr Challenge #74

Today I'm sharing a gold and black themed card.

I made this card for both the current Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge and Flickr challenge . The two challenges have the same theme this time, which is "Stencil it"

I first die cut 'floral sparkle wreath' die on a cardstock paper, then I put the diecut onto a black cardstock, stenciled it with versamark ink and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Then I cut out inner circle within the wreath to make a shaker window.

For shaker elements, I blended 'mowed lawn' and 'wild honey' on a white cardstock then splatterd water using a Timholtz water spray. 

I also die cut 'big you' from a thick gold cardstock and put it onto the panel.

For embellishment, I needed some gold flowers, so I picked out Timholtz iea-ology bouquet flowers, then sprayed heidi swapp's shine gold onto them and let them dry.

When they dried enough, I put some mini flowers, gold heat embossed leaf and sequins where I wanted.

Designer spotlight at SSS Monday challenge 'Touch Feely'

Hello :) 

I'm so excited to know that my work was featured in the designer spotlight at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge !

The challenge was of 9th June and the theme was "touchy feely"

Although it's late to post here, I just share my works in the blog to mark the happy spotlight.

First I painted a mini chopping board with white gesso, then when it dried, I watercolored the surface using watercolor oil pastels. I splattered some black gesso drops over the board. 

To give various textures, I cut some polka dot die cuts and then applied crack paste on it. 

I also used corrugated cardboard which were colored with color bursts. 

Bold typewriter image was stamped using a black archival ink , then I heat embossed it with thick embossing enamel powder to make it look glossy and cracky.

 As a final touch, I added some mini flowers and metals where I wanted to put, applied white gesso on some of the flowers to give shabby look. 

The message stamps and frame die are from MFT and the Tons.

As I always have been admiring mixed media works and got lots of inspirations from the SSS monday challenge DT, I feel so honorable for being featured in the designer spotlight.

Less is More Challenge #334

Hello and welcome ! :)

Today I'm sharing a CAS card for the current less is more challenge #334.

Here is the challenge sketch i

And, here is my take on it.

 I die cut a white card stock paper using 'floral sparkle wafer dies' . Then I blended a sheet of card base with 'worn lipstick' ink and a round blending tool. When I blended, I gave them gradient shade so that you can feel some sort of stream that flows from left bottom to right upper part all over the floral images. Then, I put the diecut panel onto the card base, and stamped a message with 'everyday greetings' stamps set using versafine onyx black ink. That's it .

I love the  floral sparkle wafer die so much. It's elegant and lovely, and it looked just perfect for the current challenge sketch which is the reason I made this card.

Time Out Challenge #86

Hello and welcome!

Today I'm sharing you a very simple card for entry into the current Time Out Challenge #86

Since my 11th wedding anniversay is comimg soon, I thought this challenge would be a perfect chance to celebrate it.

Going back to 11 years ago, I wanted to use pink and gold .

So here is my card

I watercolored the background and splattered some gold spray over the panel

After the paper dried completely,  I stamped stamps from CAS-Ual Fridays with versafine onyx black ink.

I really enjoyed the whole process of making this card.

The Ton Stamps June Challenge #2 - Color palette

Hello and welcome !

I'm sharing my second card for the The Ton Stamps June challenge, of which the theme is Color Palette

This is the inspiration image.

And this is my take on it.

I made a shaker card using The Ton Stamps and Sequins.

First, I stamped Peony Garden Cling Background with versamark ink on a watercolor cardstock and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder.

Then I watercolored it using zig clean real brush markers and a waterbrush, diecut it to a A2 size panel. I made another panel and fussy cut a red peony for use as embelishment on the right upper coner of the card.

The big frame die in the card is from Mama Elephant's products.  

Sequins are Tropical Getaway Couture Mix, Vogue City Couture Mix,   Queen Anne's Lace Couture Mix all from the Ton Products.

I stamped Timeless Icons Sentiment with versamark ink on a black cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.

I love the sentiment so much.

"Everyday is a fashion show, and the world is a runaway"

I think this is really true for us crafters :)

The Ton Stamps June Challenge #1 - Color Palette

Today, I'm sharing a card for entry into June Challenge of The Ton Stamps Blog, where the theme is "Color Palette Challenge".

Here is the challenge theme, suggesting five gorgeous colors!

So this is my take on it.

I've been enjoying making wedding cards these days, so I decided to use gorgeous wedding themed stamps from the Ton :) 

I used "Haute Wedding Dress" and "Wishful Wild Flowers" here.

Coloring was done with Zig clean real brush markers.

Sequins are Vougue City Couture Mix from The Ton.

Altenew Inspiration Challenge for June,2017

Hello and Welcome!

Today I'm sharing a card for Altenew Inspiration Challenge.

Here is the challenge image by Debby Hughes.

I was inspired by the beautiful bouquet and color combinations in the photo, so here is my take on it.

In this card I tried to make a bouquet similar with that in the challenge photo, and I used three main colors in the challenge photo: Ivory, Pink, and Violet

First, I stamped peonies and leaves from peony bouquet stamps set with timholtz distress inks (antique linen, tattered rose, shabby shutters), and small flowers from garden treasure stamps set.

Then I watercolored the images using prima flowers watercolor cubes. I used timholtz seedless preserves for coloring of small flowers. 

I watercolored very lightly, gave only a little bit of shades . 

Then I used prisma polychromo pencils to give more shades onto the flowers and leaves.

So these are before & after.

The prisma pencil colors I used are as below :

Ivory : 927, 939

Pink : 994, 993, 1014

Violet : 1009, 934, 1026

Green : 1005, 989

Blue : 103, 1040, 1086

Yellow : 917

Background : 1023

After coloring was finished, I die-cut the image with a rectangle frame die, splattered altenew dusk metallic shimmer spray on it, and foam mounted onto a natural cardstock paper.

I chose a sentiment from beautiful quotes, stamped it on a jet black cardstock with versamark ink, and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. 

I adhered the sentiment block in the lower part of the card, and final touch was putting some clear sparkling sequins.
