Clean and Simple One Layer Christmas Card

Hi, friends!
Today, I would love to share CAS christmas cards inspired by some challenges.

I used Hometown Christmas set, Stained Glass Greetings set, and Caroling Critters set for stamping.
I did a little coloring to give focal visual point using my copic markers.
This is really a 3-minute design so I hope it will help you make christmas cards quickly.

Although there are some technical errors here, I love that I came out with these by combination of a couple of challenge inspiration.

I was inspired by and I would love to enter my cards into these challenges!

I hope I didn't go out of the sketch so much 😅

Thanks for your visit.
Have a lovely day.

Here's my card for the challenge inspiration. I used Christmas Bunny Stamp set from Wild Rose Studio .

I colored the bunny using my copic markers and fussy cut the image. I used Stitched Whirl Background Die for the panel and Season's Greetings Script Die which was cut from Copper Glitter paper. Finally I adhered my panel onto A2 card base made of Neenah Texture Red and finished off my card by adding some Gold Confetti Mix.

Simple Christmas Cards ideas with ink blending

Hi, friends!
Today, I'm going to share simple Christmas card designs using ink blending. Today's post features Layered Tree Dies from Pretty Pink Posh and premium dye inks from Simon Says Stamp

Since Simon Says Stamp has showcased new assortments of it's inks collection, I would recommend to take a look at them again :)

To begin my cards, I diecut trees out of Neenah Texture White paper and green colored plaid paper. I then inked edges of green diecut using Beanstock Green ink and a blending tool. I glued the layers and then rounded gold chain around the trees and set them aside.

For my first card I used Audrey Blue, Surf Blue, Scuba and Mint on Bristol paper.
I then splattered with White Gouache and brilliant gold from Prima Metallic Accents.

I stamped a sentiment from Caroling Critters set and I foam mounted my tree on the panel. To express ornaments on tree, I adhered various colors of Pretty Pink Posh jewels

For my second card's background, I used Cotton Candy, Rosie Cheeks, and Coral Reef.

For splatters, I used White Gouache and Celestial from Prima Metallic Accents. I also added more snowy details by using a white gel pen

That's it from me for today.
I've shown how to make soft colored background by using some of my favorite inks and I love how Layered Tree Dies set lets us make quick & pretty christmas cards.
Hope you will like them, too.
By the way, which one would you prefer? 😂

Thanks for your stopping by!
Have a great day.

Simon Says Stamp - Simple watercolor flower card

Hi, there!
Today, I had some free time to enjoy my new goodies from Simon Says Stamp.

To begin, I stamped the large bouquet on A2 sized 140lb Cold Press Watercolor paper using Distress Ink Antique Linen

Then I used Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers for watercoloring. These markers are highly pigmented and they have bright colors so that they are perfect for coloring flowers. I just stained the colors from Brush Markers a little onto my image then I used water to blend them out. I added different colors on them or I mixed two~three colors before coloring to create more various shades.

After I finished coloring, I stamped sentiment from the same Sketched Flowers Stamp set then I foam mounted the panel onto A2 card base, added Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins

Thanks for reading my post, today.
Have a nice day :)

So here is my card for the challenge inspiration,  where I expressed a cold winter scene using Snow Covered Stamp set and Antique Frame Dies from Penny Black .

I stamped Snow Covered Stamp on a piece of heavy weight cold press watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black Ink then I lightly watercolored the image and background. I added splatters of white acrylic ink and let it dry.

Next, I cut the panel using  Antique Frame Dies and then colored edges using Gathered Twigs ink. I love how the Antique Frame added a unique mood to my colored panel. I stamped a sentiment from Simon Christmas Wishes on thr center using Archival Cobalt ink. Then I foam mounted the panel onto A2 sized 110 Neenah White Card Base which had hand been distressed with Gathered Twigs on four edges, too.

I embellished my card using Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix and Brown Twine.

So now it’s YOUR turn.

Here is my card for the challenge inspiration. I used Rainbow Christmas Paper and Stitched ChristmasTree Frame Dies

Next, I adhered a piece of Acetate film behind the negative cut and then glitter frame on the anterior of Acetate window using a Glue .
I used a piece of yellow gingham paper as a shaker background.

After I assembled my shaker, I added BELIEVE diecut using Red Glitter Paper and Vellum Paper. I had planned to use Gold Glitter Paper for this, but I found that Red Paper would look more balanced because the shaker had already red sequins in it.

I embellished the card with Raspberry Jewels and then finished off the card. I used a light brown card stock as a card base .

So now it’s YOUR turn.
